- Minimum age: 17 years by 31 December 2026 (born on or before 31 Dec 2009).
- Maximum age: No upper age limit now.
- Educational qualification: Passed or appearing in Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
- Minimum marks in 12th (PCB + English):
- General category: ~50%
- Reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST): ~40%
- PwD (Persons with Disabilities): ~45%
- Attempts: No limit on the number of attempts.
