They were accused of manipulating regulatory approvals for new seats and courses. As a result, the NMC had temporarily put approvals on hold. The CBI named 34 individuals in its FIR, including ministry officials, NHA staff, and NMC inspection doctors. --- ✅ Seat Approval Resumes After Leadership Changes With new leadership, including the appointment of Dr Abhijat Sheth and a new president of the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB), the seat approval process has resumed.
